We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our strong, committed, and reliable team.

This role is based with our logistics team in Damastown Industrial Park.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for the safe handling of materials in and out of the warehouse. Additionally, you will be responsible for the efficient acceptance, recording, put-away and storage of all products arriving on site.

Continuous maintenance of the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping is also required, and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of activities and training within the Operations Team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Follow and adhere to all applicable company procedures/policies/processes.
  • Carry out and complete all tasks as per training and procedure.
  • Follow all reasonable instructions issued by supervisors or management.
  • Operate safely and correctly all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and their attachments as per training and procedure.
  • Ensure all equipment checks are completed and documented prior to use, and any defects are reported immediately.
  • Complete all loading and unloading preparations and inspections ensuring products are safe for storage or transport.
  • Complete all Goods in and Goods out steps as per training and procedure ensuring all quality and information checks are carried out and recorded.
  • Ensure correct PPE is worn when required.
  • Complete all relevant documentation in full, clearly, and accurately.
  • Complete and record daily/weekly/monthly checks.
  • Ensure inventory control protocols are adhered to.
  • Ensure all materials are stored correctly in the racking system and are secured, tidy and organized.
  • Assist and support the induction and training of warehouse staff with a focus on attitude and culture.
  • Contribute towards a positive work environment in line with the company’s values and culture.
  • Work with and support other operations departments as and when required.
  • Actively contribute towards maintaining the safety and housekeeping standards of the operational areas ensuring the facility is always in an audit ready state.

Experience Required

  • Experience as a Warehouse Operative
  • Previous experience working with a WMS system
  • Any MHE experience or licenses (Fork Lift Truck, Narrow Aisle Machine, Pallet Truck etc) would be an advantage
  • Be Process Driven
  • Pro-active in communication skills between departments
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions
  • Be meticulous in your work with attention to detail
  • Reliable, hardworking and flexible, team player, fast learner
  • Excellent communication both verbal and comprehension
