The Company Administrator is responsible for providing assistance and administrative support to Company executives and department managers.

Their duties will include providing support to various Chemco departments in the day to day management of customers, suppliers and site visitors.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to daily key business activities including but not limited to, goods inwards processing, order processing and reverse logistics and any elements related to such activities.
  • Act as front of house and representing the Company through various communications channels whilst ensuring this is completed in a professional manner.
  • Answering the Company general telephone, directing calls and welcoming and liaising with external visitors.
  • Mange the day-to-day administration of the Company including filing, purchasing supplies, visitor badge management and perform minor accounting duties.
  • Assist the Client Manager with high level customer service issues.
  • Manager the daily interface with customers, suppliers, internal departments and visitors.
  • Assist customers both internal and external with specific requests / queries and respond in a timely manner.
  • Providing administrative assistance such as drafting memos, preparing communications and planning and booking travel requirements on the executive’s behalf.
  • Organize meetings; including scheduling, sending reminders, preparation of meeting rooms and organizing catering when necessary
  • Generate reports for customers, suppliers or internal departments as required.
  • When required take accurate and comprehensive notes at meetings.
  • Support on ad hoc events and projects as required.
  • Manage and maintain stocks of office supplies and general goods supplies in the office sundries storage areas.
  • Always ensure compliance with policies and procedures as communicated in the Employee Handbook and other company policies and procedure documents.
  • Maintain, encourage and contribute towards a positive work environment in line with the Company’s values and culture.
  • Ensure that the safety and housekeeping standards of the main office is always maintained to an audit ready state and in line with the Company’s expectations.
  • Attend training and implement the requirement of the training in your day-to-day role.
  • Offer support to the Emergency Response / Crisis Management Teams as required

Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to managers.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and observational skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines in a result orientated environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills via all channels including in person, email and telephone communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Hardworking, honest and trustworthy.
  • Excellent work ethic.
