We are currently recruiting for an Administration & Logistics Assistant Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a skilled Distribution team focusing on Sales support, purchasing, inventory control and document maintenance/QA Support.

In addition to the administrative responsibilities, the role includes the coordination of Chemco Distributions Transport function and to coordination of supply to customers via contracted 3rd party Haulage Partners.

Sales:

  • SOP processing and customer support
  • Supporting Sales Team with information relating to Order Fulfillment.
  • Costings providing Sales Team with product costings where required.

Purchasing:

  • POP processing.
  • Track stock orders and drop shipments to ensure on time delivery.
  • Advise suppliers of non-conformance as applicable.
  • Create and culture relationships with Suppliers.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with suppliers and clearing agent.

Logistics:

  • Assign sales orders to daily truck routes.

Competencies required:

  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate with intermediate level of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to be able to work to and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills working at all levels across the organisation
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in reporting
